The best wine we ever tasted times 12. Helix Pomatia is a blend of 4 grapes, Merlot, Cab Sav, Syrah and Cab Franc brought to us by the Reininger Winery in Walla Walla, Washington. Another Columbia Valley wine. Costs around $20 — an absolute steal!

A Dozen Snails

Sharing the same longitude as Bordeaux, France, it comes as no surprise to me that Columbia Valley (Washington) produces some fantastic wine. The two wines above, Columbia-Crest and Chateau St. Michelle, can be found in the supermarket for under $12. Drinkable and delicious. Keep an eye out for Columbia Valley.
